Santa Fe government issues decree creating Rosario technology hub

Bnamericas
The government of Argentina's Santa Fe province has issued a decree to create a technology hub in the city of Rosario, local press reported. The provincial government, as well as the city authorities and the Rosario technology cluster PTR, have launched a campaign to attract tech firms to the new district, which will be located in the south of Rosario. The district will be located on a former military site which was acquired by the government of Santa Fe in 2011. Authorities are hoping to attract companies developing innovative solutions with a technological base. The firms should also have a viable technological innovation project, with an international outlook. According to a document released by PTR, a committee, which will be accepting applications up until February 27, will select the projects to be granted physical space in the new district.
