Carmencita Solar Plant

Description: The “Carmencita Solar Plant” Project corresponds to a new Solar Plant subject to environmental evaluation, located in the Maule Region. This Project will generate clean energy through the construction of a 9 MW AC power plant, which is why it is considered a small means of distributed generation (PMGD) based on non-conventional renewable energies (NCRE). The solar plant is made up of 15,834 panels, installed with single-axis tracker technology and includes a 15 kV power line (“Electrical Evacuation Line”), which will provide energy to the National Electric System (SEN), according to the Technical Standard for Connection and Operation of Small Distributed Generation Means (PMGD) in Medium Voltage installations. All the Parts that make up the project will be developed on an approximate area of 20 hectares, while the medium voltage line does not consider an extension of the electrical easement. The objective of the “Carmencita Solar Plant” Project is the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, through a Solar Plant whose maximum power to be injected into the distribution network is 9 MW AC.
