Description: Doña Luzma Power Plant Power generation plants greater than 3 MW The Doña Luzma Power Plant Project consists of the construction and operation of a diesel backup electric power generation plant that will inject its generation into the National Electric System through the Substation (S/E ) Falcons. The project, located in the commune of Marchigue, includes the generation plant, a booster substation and a transmission line. The plant will be made up of 24 diesel power generation units (10 units of 2.1 MW and 14 units of 1.4 MW), making up a total power of 40.6 MW. Likewise, 5 tanks will be built for the storage of Diesel fuel of 90 m3 each, which will be supplied by 30 m3 trucks from the Marchigue area. The plant will have a step-up S/E that will increase the voltage from 23 kV to 66 kV. The generating units will be connected to this substation through an internal 23 kV overhead line. The connection from the lift S/E to the Alcones S/E will be through a 3.55 km long 66 kV High Voltage (HV) line, which will run through an Easement Strip approximately 20 m wide. The workforce throughout the construction stage will be a total of 40 people. For the operation will require 6 people. Work shifts will be 8 hours, there will be dressing rooms and bathrooms for such purposes. The drinking water supply in the construction will be through dispensers, while for the operation there will be a 10,000 L storage tank, which will be supplied by a company authorized by the Health Service of the Libertador General Bernardo O'Region. Higgins, through cistern trucks from Santa Cruz. During construction, to have electricity, it will be necessary to use a 100 kVA generator set, fed by a 500 L fuel tank. During the operation stage, the Power Plant may generate or use the network for its own consumption, the energy necessary for its own operation. During the Construction phase, the project will have chemical toilets maintained by a pit cleaning truck authorized by the SISS of the Rancagua commune. Meanwhile, during the Operation phase, conventional toilets will be used, which will be connected by pipes to a sealed septic tank system, which will also be maintained by trucks and personnel authorized by the SISS of the Rancagua commune (or a nearby commune). that has authorized service). The objective of the Project consists of the construction and operation of a 40.6 MW Power Plant, powered by Diesel fuel No. 2, in the Marchigue sector, intended to supply electricity to the facilities of the National Electric System through of the S/E Alcones.
