This section includes: 3 stations: Palenque Station, located on the grounds of the old Palenque Airport. Puente Boca del Cerro Station (Usumacinta), located in the municipality of Tenosique El Triunfo Station, located in the center of the town of El Triunfo, municipality of Balacán 2 stops: Tenosique, Tabasco Candelaria, Tabasco. The Mayan Train consists of a new rail transport service that interconnects the main cities and tourist areas of the Yucatan peninsula. Its objective is to promote social inclusion and job creation through tourism and promote socioeconomic development. It will provide passenger service during the day and cargo service at night. To minimize the environmental impact, existing rights of way will be used in some segments, such as railway lines, highways and power lines.
