The route will connect Coronda and San Francisco, supplying water to 54 localities, 33 in Santa Fe and 21 in Córdoba, benefiting a population of 410,000 inhabitants of both provinces. It will extend from the new intake in the Paraná River system to the city of San Francisco, linking up with the existing aqueduct network in the northeastern area of the province of Córdoba, with a future second stage to extend it to the city of Córdoba. Stage 1 will benefit 17 cities in Santa Fe: Coronda, Arocena, San Fabián, Barrancas, Larrechea, Gessler, Gálvez, San Eugenio, Loma Alta, López, Campo Piaggio, Colonia Belgrano, Traill, Cañada Rosquín, Casas, Las Bandurrias and San Martín de las Escobas. This project is expected to ensure Córdoba's water supply for the next 50 or 60 years.
