Cabei, Bank Provide US$3.6mn for Rural Elec.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei, TRADUCION: BCIE), Norwegian bank Eksporfinans and Norway's development cooperation agency will make a US$3.6mn loan for rural electrification in Honduras, according to a Cabei news release reported in Prensa Libre (Honduras). According to Cabei, Eksporfinans will provide US$2.6mn and the development agency the remaining US$1mn, in a 15-year loan with a four-year period of grace, at 7% annual interest during 18 months, and 1.35% thereafter.
