Brazil's ANTT holds public hearing on highway concession
Road transport regulator ANTT will hold a public hearing to provide more details on the notice of the concession for a stretch of BR-101 highway in Brazil.
One of the sessions will take place late on Wednesday in Criciúma, Santa Catarina state, and a second session is planned for October 22 in Brasília.
The government plans to auction a 220km stretch between Paulo Lopes and São João do Sul municipalities, in Santa Catarina state.
Projected to generate 6.5bn reais (US$1.76bn) in investments and operational costs, the concession will be valid for 30 years.
The auction is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2019, according to the transports ministry.
