Peru power watch: Concession call, solar dispatch, grid costs
Peru’s investment promotion agency ProInversión modified the timetable for the concession process of transmission projects Belaunde Terry-Tarapoto Norte, San José-Yarabamba, Piura Nueva-Colán, Lambayeque Norte, Chiclayo Oeste-La Niña/Felam and Piura Este.
The deadlines to pay the participation fee and present qualification documents were pushed back to June 5 and 12, respectively.

Energy and mining investment regulator Osinergmin issued a connection mandate for Parque Fotovoltaico Iquitos’ 20MW Milagros solar project.
The photovoltaic park, which secured the definitive transmission concession last year, is now permitted to connect to Electro Oriente’s 60kV Santa Rosa substation in the northern Amazon region of Loreto.

Osinergmin also reported it will hold virtual public hearings January 19-20 where 2023-27 power grid connection cost proposals submitted by distributors will be presented. Information is available here.
