Oroco Resource is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of mineral resources properties in Mexico. Its main asset in the country is the Xochipala project, formed by two concessions within the Guerrero gold belt: Celia Generosa and Celia Gene. Through its local unit, Minera Xochipala, the junior firm is also the owner of the Salvador property, located 25km west of its core project. The company also had another property in Mexico, the Cerro Prieto gold mine, which was sold to Goldgroup Mining in 2013. Oroco Resource was founded in 2006 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
