Description:

The Canadian firm Crown Point Energy Inc., formerly known as Crown Point Ventures, is a junior oil and gas exploration and development firm which owns and operates assets in Argentina through its subsidiary Crown Point Energy S.A., including the Austral and the Neuquén basins located in the provinces of Tierra del Fuego and Mendoza, respectively. In Neuquén, Crown Point Energy Inc. holds a 100% interest of the exploration concession Cerro Los Leones (100,907 acres). In the Austral basin, this company holds a 25.78% non-operated working interest in the exploration concessions Río Cullen, La Angostura and Las Violetas (489,000 gross acres in total). The three Austral concessions passed to Crown Point Energy Inc. in 2012 by the acquisition of Antrim Argentina, a subsidiary of UK Antrim Energy Inc., as well as a 50.1% operated interest in Cerro Los Leones.
