Mineração Taboca S.A. is a Brazilian company focused on the mining and metalworking of tin and other industrial minerals, and owns the Pitinga mine, located in the Amazon region, which produces tin, niobium and tantalum. Casseterite concentrate smelting process is conducted at the company's subsidiary in São Paulo. Mineração Taboca markets high grade tin bars with 99.90% purity under the brand name Mamoré, but also produces standard grade (96%) and also sells low grade tin. The firm was founded in 1969 and acquired in 2008 by Breca Group's company, Minsur S.A., through its subsidiary Minera Latinoamericana S.A.C. (Minlat). The company is headquartered in Manaus, Brazil.
