Hispamar Satélites (Hispamar) is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is a subsidiary of Hispasat Group, a Spanish telecommunication satellite operator. Hispamar was founded in 2002 by the union of Hispasat and the Brazilian company Oi. The company has a satellite control center and a telemetry antenna control center, both in Rio de Janeiro. Other regional branches include offices in Argentina and Venezuela. Hispamar offers distribution services via satellite (in Spanish and Portuguese languages), IP telephony; DTH, IPTV o mobile TV; and access to Internet for broadcasters, telecommunication operators, corporations, companies and national and international government entities.
