Termelétrica Novo Tempo S.A. is a Brazilian consortium made up of UTE Novo Tempo-Gás e Geração de Energia S.A. (25%) and Bolognesi Empreendimentos Ltda. (75%) tasked with developing the UTE Novo Tempo thermoelectric power project. The plant is being built in a 15,700ha area in the Suape port and industrial complex in the city of Ipojuca, in Brazil's Pernambuco state, and includes a LNG regasification plant. The power project is expected to generate more than 1,200MW, and scheduled to start delivering energy by 2021. Brazilian firm Prumo Logistica announced in 2017 that its subsidiary Gas Natural Açu (GNA) signed a contract with Termelétrica Novo Tempo S.A. for the transference of the plant's construction and operation authorization.
