Enel Colombia secures US$90mn Bancolombia loans

Enel Colombia has received loans totaling 450bn pesos (US$93mn) from Bancolombia to meet its capital spending and refinancing needs.
A 360bn-peso loan with a seven-year repayment term will be used for "general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of obligations," the company said in a regulatory filing.
Another 89bn-peso disbursement with a six-year term will be used for electric power expansion projects in Bogotá and Cundinamarca, the company added.
