Engie Brasil Energias Complementares is a holding company and a subsidiary of Engie Brasil Energia S.A., which has interests in complementary energy sources, including solar, wind, mini hydro and biomass-fired power plants. Through its various subsidiaries, the company manages several power plants, including the 27MW Rondonópolis, 20MW Areia Branca and 24MW José Gelazio mini hydropower plants; and the 26MW Beberibe, 18MW Pedra do Sal, 25MW Trairi, 30MWGuajirú, 30MWFleixeiras I and30MWMundaú wind farms. The company contributes 5.2% of its parent company's total installed power, which is over 7,000MW. Engie Brasil Energias Complementares is headquartered in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina state, and was incorporated in 2007.
