US-based Aspect Software was formed from the merger of Aspect Communications and Concerto Software in 2005. The company focuses solely on the contact center industry, providing call center software and equipment for customer service, collections, and sales and telemarketing for in-house and outsourced contact centers. Aspect is based in Westford, Massachusetts, with Latin American offices located in Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Colombia. Currently Brazil is the strongest market for Aspect in Latin America followed by Mexico, Central America and the Andean region. On July 2013, Aspect announced the US$150mn acquisition of Voxeo, a provider of hosted and on-premise interactive voice response (IVR) solutions.
