Description:
Renewable energy generation company Eólica Rionegrina S.A. (ERSA) is a joint venture between Argentine state-run companies INVAP S.E., engaged in development of technological systems, and Transcomahue S.A., a provider of high voltage power transmission services. ERSA was founded in 2015 to develop the Cerro Policia wind power complex, in Rio Negro province. In 2017, the company entered an agreement with Powerchina Limited, a Chinese state-owned contractor which will be in charge of financing and building the 700MW complex. ERSA is based in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro province.
