Iecsa S.A. is an Argentine engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and project management company that provides a full range of life-cycle services, from conceptual design to commissioning, operations and maintenance of existing facilities. Iecsa has served the energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure, and water and waste markets in Argentina and the region since 1977. The Buenos Aires-based company is controlled by local group ODS S.A. As part of concessionaire Dominicana de Vías Concesionadas, which includes Colombia's Grupo Odinsa (40%), Italy's Ghella (25%) and Dominican Remix (10%), the company was awarded the Dominican Republic's 35-year Viadom highway concession in 2009. Work will involve repairing 199km of roads and building 68km of new roads. It also includes building a beltway around the city of Santiago in the province of the same name, and an access road linking capital Santo Domingo with southern cities San Cristobal and Bani.
