Description:
Argentina's Secretariat of Energy is responsible for ensuring the energy supply needed for the country's development. The department is further divided into two other secretariats —non-renewable resources and fuel market, and renewable resources and power market. Its undersecretariats are in charge of nuclear power, energy efficiency, hydrocarbons and fuel, and others. The department was created in 2018 after the dissolution of the Ministry of Energy and Mines. It now operates under the Ministry of Finance. Its offices are located in Buenos Aires.
